Austin Kleon’s post titled “How to steal like an Artist (and 9 other things nobody told me)” is a highly inspirational review of the basic tenets he follows to continue the creative process of writing. I found the whole post helpful and full of common sense but often over looked concepts. I have book marked it and will probably read it every day for a while.

2. Don’t wait until you know who you are to start making things.
“Do good work and put it where people can see it.”
It’s a two step process.
Step one, “do good work,” is incredibly hard. There are no shortcuts. Make stuff every day. Fail. Get better.
Step two, “put it where people can see it,” was really hard up until about 10 years ago. Now, it’s very simple: “put your stuff on the internet.”
