Federated Media

B2Day talks about the launch of Federated Media, a network of top tier blog sites ( I have not gotten my invitation yet!)

John Battelle‘s Federated Media Publishing came out of beta yesterday. He’s collected about 50 high-quality blogs and Websites like BoingBoing, Digg, GigaOm, TechCrunch, and Techdirt to be part of his network. They focus on producing great content, and FM Publishing focuses on bringing great advertisers to them.

Unlike with Google’s AdSense, FM Publishing offers a selection of pre-screened blogs to advertisers which collectively attract 70 million pageviews per month, and it lets them choose where their ads appear, at least by category.”
