Ashkan Karbasfrooshan has a great series going on Techcrunch covering the online video industry.  In this post he makes some guesses about who will buy who as the demand for online video content gets more mainstream.

  1. Demand Media will acquire Tremor Media
  2. Lagardere Groupe will acquire Dailymotion
  3. Scripps will acquire 5Min
  4. Google will acquire Ooyala
  5. Microsoft will acquire Brightcove
  6. Yahoo! will acquire Freewheel
  7. Gannett will acquire Livestream
  8. Nielsen will acquire TubeMogul
  9. AOL acquires Howcast
  10. News Corp. acquires Break Media from Lionsgate, spins off NewCo
