Zaarly: video marketing tour de force

Posted on the same day, four speakers, ten videos – Zaarly’s management team steps up on stage.  The longest video is about a minute and a half but most are under 1 minute and closer to 30 seconds.  Short, powerful statements about the purpose and thinking around the new company.

I think this is a really smart move. Here is a sample, go see the rest here.

After reviewing all of the videos they are slightly less interesting than I first thought.  The multiple clips of each person are really just cut down versions of the same statements.  Not as interesting.  Also, each of the four people was given a specific talking point.  I understand the need to do that to keep everyone on topic but its a little stuffy.

All in all its very hard to rapidly create numerous video pieces that are well produced, well shot and well edited.  The Zaarly team did that and should be commended for a solid effort.  Could have been better though.
